
Scott has provided his experience in turf grass management to The Lyle Anderson Company, Inc. since 1990,
when he started as golf course superintendent at the Cochise and Geronimo courses at Desert Mountain.
In 1996, Scott became golf superintendent at the Woodland and Meadows golf courses at Sunriver Resort
in Sunriver, Oregon He rejoined The Lyle Anderson Company, Inc. in 1997 to help launch the 18-hole
Nicklaus-designed courses at Superstition Mountain.
He is a past winner of the Jack Nicklaus Award for Superintendent of the Year from Nicklaus Design.
The award honored Krout for his ability to provide outstanding playing surfaces on the Prospector
and Lost Gold courses at Superstition Mountain. Scott’s professional memberships include the Cactus
& Pine Golf Course Superintendent Association and the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America.
