Upcoming Arizona Golf Tournaments in November 2018

The calendar year may be coming to a close, but Arizona’s golf season is in full swing with several exciting tournaments and events around the Valley. Mark your calendar and get your clubs ready because the Arizona Golf Association (AGA) has plenty of events planned through November and December to keep you busy watching or playing.

2018 AGA Players Cup Championship
Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club will host its end-of-year AGA Players Cup Championship on Nov. 10 and 11. Along with 36-holes of competition, the weekend includes a fun-filled Saturday with games and a delicious cookout. The Tournament Committee will also hold a Players Cup Town Hall Meeting during the weekend festivities to give players an opportunity to provide feedback about the AGA Tournament Program.

Pinal 40 Charity Golf Fundraiser
Spend the day enjoying breakfast, lunch and beverages on the course for Pinal 40’s 3rd Annual Charity Golf Classic on Nov. 16. The scenery is sure to be beautiful as Pinal 40 holds this event every year at one of the top five golf courses in Arizona, this year’s being at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club. The day will begin with registration at 6:45 a.m. and conclude with an awards banquet, auctions, raffles and a prize ceremony.

Future for KIDS 17th Annual Golf Classic
Trade in your usual Friday tee time for one that will support a good cause. The Future for KIDS 17th Annual Golf Classic will take place on Nov. 30 at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler. The all-day event will begin with 10 a.m. registration and pre-tournament bottomless Bloody Marys, snacks and contests. The golf festivities will kick off at 11 a.m. followed by dinner and awards.

San Ignacio Amateur
For the first time, San Ignacio Golf Club invites amateur golfers from all over the Southwest to participate in a two-day tournament Dec. 1 and 2.  Participants will compete in four age groups starting at 40 years old, along with an open division. The 36-hole individual stroke play tournament will tee off at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Club will also give away a third of the entry fees in prizes.

Phoenix Cancer Support Network Celebrity Golf Tournament
Join Phoenix Cancer Support Network for its inaugural Celebrity Golf Tournament on Dec. 14 to support cancer patients and their families. The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. Notable sports figures and celebrities, including former NFL and MLB players, will be participating in this year’s tournament. 

Here at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club, fun golf events are offered year-round such as the annual member tournaments. Look for member events on the community calendar.
