4 Fall Festivals to Experience

Fall brings a variety of fun festivals to the Valley. Whether you enjoy the arts, classic fall activities or live music, there are plenty of events happening near Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club. Be sure to mark your calendar for these unique festivals throughout the season.

1. Queen Creek Olive Mill Garlic Festival
For all the garlic lovers out there, the 6th annual Queen Creek Olive Mill Garlic Festival is an event you won’t want to miss. The two-day festival will be held Sept. 28 and 29 at the Queen Creek Olive Mill, just 20 miles north of our private, golf course community. Attendees will enjoy live music, cooking demos, local food trucks, garlic classes, a beer and wine garden and a variety of organically grown garlic and garlic food items. Admission is free and tickets for garlic classes are available for purchase at the event.

2. Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party
Known as one of the best fall festivals in the Valley, the Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party returns this fall every Thursday through Sunday from Oct. 3-27. Each ticket includes a variety of fun activities such as hayrides, live entertainment, mini-golf, a petting zoo, bonfires, fireworks, a roller coaster and so much more. Delicious food options and train ride tickets are also available for purchase at the event. Festival tickets can be purchased online or at a discounted rate from Fry’s Food Stores.


3. Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts
Returning this fall, the Downtown Mesa Festival of the Arts will be held the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Oct. 5. Festival attendees can enjoy live music, tasty food options and a wide array of unique art pieces from local artists. The free festival is located in the heart of downtown Mesa on MacDonald St. between Main St. and Pepper Pl. Parking is available in the nearby lot.


4. Festival of the Superstitions
The Festival of the Superstitions is the perfect event to truly admire our backdrop of the beautiful Superstition Mountains. Located only 15 minutes from Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club, this year’s festival will take place at the new Flatiron Community Park in Apache Junction on Nov. 9. The free event will kick off at 10 a.m. with a veteran’s tribute. Following, attendees can enjoy a variety of food trucks, a beer garden, live entertainment, pony rides, a pet costume contest and a car show. It’s sure to be a great day for the entire family.
