Design Guidelines
In 2026, the Design Review Committee and Board of Directors adopted a revised set of Design Guidelines. The guideline changes focused predominantly on exterior and landscape lighting of homes and homesites. For your convenience, we have included a copy of the redlined revisions, so that you can review the individual items that have changed, if you are so interested.
Pre-Design Information
This is the Welcome to the Design Review Process.
Conceptual Meeting
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for the Conceptual Meeting. This is intended to confirm design intent and compatibility with the basic standards of Superstition Mountain, prior to commissioning expensive full plan sets.
Preliminary Submittal
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for the Preliminary Submittal. This is likely the most substantial step in the process as ideas and concepts coalesce into firm plans.
Landscape Submittal
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for the Landscape Submittal which is due concurrent with the Preliminary Submittal. While the outward appearance of your architecture is very important, so to is the landscape within which it sits.
Final Submittal
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for the Final Submittal.
Pre Construction Meeting
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for the commencement of construction.
Course Of Construction
These documents contain the materials used to submit a change request from any Committee approved plans and the Exterior Material Exhibit completion form.
Landscape Pre Install Meeting
These documents contain the materials used to prepare for fence removal and landscape installation.
Supplemental Documents

Benefit Village Documents
