Monsoon Protocol
Monsoon ProtocolIn August 2026, our Homeowners Association (HOA) has established a comprehensive protocol for managing the impact of monsoon storms on the community. Recognizing the challenges posed by these seasonal storms, we are committed to ensuring the safety and aesthetics of our neighborhood.
Following a significant storm, the HOA prioritizes a systematic response. The onsite landscape team, referred to as the "cycle crew," remains operational throughout the year and is specially trained to handle various tasks related to storm recovery. Initially, after a storm event, the cycle crew conducts a thorough assessment of all community roadways to identify any blockages or hazards. This triage process is essential to ensure that all pathways are clear and accessible for residents.
In addition to managing the immediate cleanup of roads, the cycle crew returns to its routine landscape maintenance in designated villages and community areas. This dual approach is vital, particularly during the monsoon season, as we address the increased growth of desert plants that results from heightened humidity and rainfall.
Beyond our community, the HOA collaborates with DLC Resources, our dedicated landscaper, who undertakes extensive cleanup operations not only within our neighborhood but also extends support to surrounding valley communities. This partnership enhances our overall response capabilities and contributes to a coordinated regional effort.
We appreciate the community's patience during this crucial time as we await cleanup crews to arrive and manage the removal of fallen tree limbs and other debris. Over the next few weeks, we will continue our cleanup efforts, and we anticipate that all debris and potential erosion concerns will be addressed promptly. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work diligently to restore our community's environment.
Trees blocking roadways are the priority and will be removed and set aside to the side of the roads while a plan is devised to clean up all storm debris.
